Spacemen and Astronauts is what the Spring 2009 collection of Gareth Pugh reminds me of. But he is also known for the artwork more than usability. I think it would be difficult to buy groceries in theese outfits without having people looking:
He is known for his special designs, but now the models are even more special, and the clothes look great.
I love the shoulders in the Spring 2009 collection of Balmain. I’m not sure they work in real life, but they look good on the catwalk of the Fashion Week in Paris.
I love the creations of this Copenhagen-based designer; Diana Brinks. She makes clothes that are constructed in a process where graphic simplicity, shapes and dark silhouettes are the main sources of inspiration. I just noticed this brand: The Cassette Society, and I really like it. The clothes are Rock’n’roll but feminine.
